16 September 2004 Claude Moraes MEP - Vote on Situation in Iraq Resolution Claude
Moraes MEP voted for the Resolution on Iraq which stated that the Iraq
invasion was both unjust and illegal in international law. On amendment
3, Claude Moraes voted for the Resolution. This can be found as item 8
of the Minutes of the European Parliament sitting of 16 September.

Claude Moraes MEP said, "I welcome this resolution, because I have
always believed that military intervention in Iraq was and is
unjustified in international law. The EU must do everything it can to
aid the reconstruction of Iraq."
