SOCIALISTS NAME MEMBERS OF CIA PRISON INQUIRY COMMITTEE

 

The Socialist Group today announced the names of members proposed for the European Parliament inquiry committee into allegations of secret CIA prisons.

 

Said Group vice-president Jan Marinus Wiersma, who will serve on the committee:  "We hope we can work quickly.  It is our intention to get as much information as possible to verify the allegations that have been made and if necessary to make recommendations on how the EU should deal with this matter."

 

The Socialist Group members of the committee are:
